Axelar x Polygon
ICYMI, on October 26th, Polygon announced their partnership with Axelar, one of the biggest cross-chain communications protocol in web3.
What Does This Partnership Mean?
Polygon Supernets are application specific, custom blockchains that are powered by Polygon Edge, a modular and extensible framework for building private or public Ethreum compatible blockchain networks.
Through this partnership, Polygon Supernets will be able to communicate with one another (and with any other connected network) in as little as one click. This is huge, as it introduces a communications layer for the Polygon ecosystem, paving the way for an “interoperable internet of dedicated blockchains”.
Whether you’re a lending/borrowing protocol, a P2E game, or any other defi project, you can now build out your cross-chain dapps and reach a wider range people, and thus, liquidity.
To learn about all the benefits this partnership brings for developers, you can check out the official blog post.
